Pairing the Bang & Olufsen - Beoplay H8i:

Follow the instructions here to learn how to connect your Beoplay H8 to an Android device:

1. Turn on Bluetooth on your Android device.

2. Verify if Beoplay H8i is listed as an already paired device. If yes, please remove the pairing. If not, proceed to the next step.

3. Switch on your Beoplay H8i.

4. Enable pairing mode on your Beoplay H8i by pressing the centre button for 5 seconds. The blue indicator light will start flashing which indicates that pairing mode is now active, and Beoplay H8i is ready to be connected to your Android device.

5. Enable the Bluetooth search on your Android device.

6. Wait for the Bluetooth search to stop completely. Beoplay H8i should appear as an available device.

7. Tap Beoplay H8i to connect.

Note: Waiting for the Bluetooth search to stop is very important as this ensures that your Beoplay H8i is recognised as a media device.


Resetting the Bang & Olufsen - Beoplay H8i:

1. Switch on your Beoplay H8i by short pressing the center button on the headphone.

2. To reset the Beoplay H8i, hold down the volume up and down buttons for around 10 seconds.

3. When the indicator flashes red for 2 seconds, the Beoplay H8i are reset to factory settings and all paired devices are removed.

4. After resetting you will need to pair your Beoplay H8i to your mobile device again. This means that you need to remove Beoplay H8i from the list of paired Bluetooth devices on your mobile device before adding them again.
